Job summary

Centria Autism in Portland, OR is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team and support children with autism through one-on-one instruction under a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors while working closely with families and a supportive team.

Comprehensive training provided; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.
