Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, teach communication and daily living skills, and help reduce interfering behaviors.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. This role requires patience, teamwork, and physical activity to support children as they move and participate in activities, with a pay range of $17-$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and move in various positions.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team and participate in training to support children's progress.
