Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You’ll use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

The role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. We offer comprehensive training, a pay range of $19–$20 per hour, and perks like discounts, EAP, and early wage access.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR and First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Maintain patient and compassionate approach in a team environment.
• Move in various positions during the day and assist with physical needs.
