Job summary

BY YOUR SIDE-Autism Therapy Services in Naperville, IL seeks a Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children ages 6–21 under the supervision of a BCBA in center-based settings. The role involves implementing treatment plans, data collection, and collaboration with families to support skill development and safer learning environments.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old per BACB requirements with a clear background check.
• Interest in ABA and autism spectrum disorders and desire to work with children.
• Strong communication with clients, families and team members.
• Ability to respond quickly and safely to challenging behaviors per BIPs and safety protocols.
• Proficient with iPad-based apps and MS Office tools.
• Flexible in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Willingness to receive feedback and grow professionally.
• Excellent time management and organization; reliable attendance.
• Prior ABA experience and familiarity with data collection software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy under BCBA supervision in 2:1 or 1:1 or small group settings.
• Implement individualized treatment plans across multiple domains.
• Collect data and document progress per guidelines and timelines.
• Maintain client confidentiality per HIPAA and BACB ethics.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional trainings.
• Assist with client hygiene and maintain client dignity.
• Uphold company policies and safety standards.
• Deliver services on a One Time Basis (OTM) when assigned.
