Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to join our team. BTs provide 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to clients in a center-based setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation with ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and others involved.
• Physically keep up with clients during sessions, including movement and lifting as needed.
