Job summary

Delta Area Economic Opportunity Corporation is seeking a part-time Teacher's Aide to support preschool instruction and classroom activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the preschool teacher, provide educational assistance, and help ensure a nurturing, collaborative environment.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED; a CDA credential is preferred. A Missouri driver’s license with transportation and insurance is required for this position.

Job description

The Teacher's Aide assists the preschool teacher in providing educational support in a preschool classroom setting. The successful candidate must have experience working with young children, have the ability to work as a team, be able to work in a flexible environment. Applicant must have a High School Diploma/GED, a CDA (child development associate) credential is preferred.

A driver's license valid in Missouri, transportation and insurance is required.

Hours:

• PART-TIME approx. 28 hours per week
• HS Positions - 40 weeks per year
• EHS Positions - 52 weeks per year
