Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) seeks a Center/Academy Director to oversee the Center's overall management, performance, and environment, delivering an effective employability system for student training in line with government and corporate directives.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and compliance with Job Corps regulations, with responsibilities spanning staff development, contract compliance, and safety management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in vocational, academic training or related field.
• Five (5) years related experience in program management and direction; three (3) in Job Corps managerial capacity.
• Four (4) years' experience working with young adults in an educational setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook at an intermediate level.
• Successfully pass background check and drug test required on the contract.
• Current, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, direct and supervise administrative, programmatic and behavior management activities.
• Provide staff training; evaluate staff performance; implement organizational actions.
• Coordinate with DOL personnel to ensure Center functioning and contract compliance.
• Establish Center plans, programs, goals, and objectives to ensure achievement.
• Review accident/injury reports and promote staff/student safety; implement corrective measures.
