Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a Career Center Director in New York to lead the Center's career services and development activities. You will provide leadership for planning, employer engagement, job development, and student transition initiatives designed to support successful outcomes.

You will supervise staff, ensure individualized student plans, and coordinate with academic and counseling teams to drive placement and employment readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in career development or workforce development.
• 2+ years of supervisory or program coordination experience.
• Experience developing employer or community partnerships.
• Successful background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee Career Center operations and career development services.
• Supervise and provide direction to assigned career services personnel.
• Ensure students receive individualized career planning and employment preparation services.
• Coordinate career planning with students' MyPACE Career Plans and career pathway goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with employers and community partners.
