Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a Residential Advisor to oversee assigned shifts and dormitories, ensuring safety, wellbeing, and program coordination. Responsibilities include coaching students, supporting staff, and coordinating activities under Job Corps guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of youth experience, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience working with youth preferred.
• Pass background check and drug test are required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate situations within dormitories to maintain a safe, positive environment.
• Perform administrative duties for effective student and staff services.
• Provide medication assistance following guidelines and SOPs for non-health staff.
• Offer one-on-one coaching for cleaning, hygiene, social, and independent living skills.
• Coordinate residential activities and special dorm events, in collaboration with teams.
• Maintain dormitory facilities and train hall leaders; ensure daily cleanup.

Education

GED or High School Diploma

Associates Degree in counseling, social work, rehabilitation
