Job summary

Service Corporation International in Columbia, MO, seeks a Cemetery Maintenance Associate to perform openings and closings for burials, install memorials, maintain grounds and facilities, and respond to service requests.

You will operate hand tools and heavy equipment, follow safety rules, complete preventive maintenance, and participate in training. Requires a High School diploma and six months of equipment experience; valid license highly preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months experience operating standard equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs openings & closings for burials and related tasks.
• Sets, installs, and assembles foundations, memorials, and markers.
• Installs outer burial containers.
• Handles work orders from families for grave and marker maintenance.
• Responds to service requests and completes work orders.
• Conducts Interment Verification Procedures and safety checks.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and follows safety rules.
• Completes Dignity University courses and assigned training.
