Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, operate cemetery equipment, and assist with memorial installations. The role emphasizes safety, precision, and high-quality service for visitors and families.

You will perform landscape duties, manage maintenance tasks, and support funeral services as needed, ensuring a respectful and secure environment. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 80lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performing landscape maintenance duties such as weed-whacking and lawn mowing.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation of machinery.
• Provide support for funeral services as part of cemetery operations.
• Install cemetery vaults or assist with memorial installations as needed.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties and occasional snow removal.
• Collaborate with Grounds Superintendent to ensure safety and security of property and staff.
