Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a diligent Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain the property, operate machinery, and assist with funeral service logistics. You will ensure safe grounds, perform general maintenance, and support vault and headstone installations as needed.

The role requires 2+ years in maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Some holidays and evenings/weekends work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Read and execute memos and directives from supervisor.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance: weed-whacking, lawn mowing, etc.
• Maintain and repair equipment and machinery.
• Support funeral services as needed.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Install cemetery vaults as required.
• Install headstones or memorials when needed.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Occasionally perform snow removal.
