Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain landscape and cemetery grounds, ensure safety, and support funeral services. You will operate machinery, install vaults and headstones, and perform daily maintenance tasks with a focus on detail and service.

The role requires physical stamina and reliable attendance, with opportunities for growth through our benefits and training programs. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work holidays are needed.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance duties such as weed-whacking and lawn mowing.
• Maintain equipment.
• Handle all functions related to funeral services.
• Operate machinery safely.
• Install cemetery vaults or assist with installation.
• Install headstones or memorials as needed.
• Day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Snow removal if applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Grounds Superintendent.
