Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, perform landscaping, operate machinery, and support funeral services with safety as a priority. The role requires lifting up to 80lbs, a valid driver’s license, and availability for holidays and weekends.

You will contribute to a respectful and well-maintained cemetery environment for families and visitors. We value compassion, customer focus, and strong ethics.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Care, maintenance, and repairs of the property.
• Ensure safety and security of employees and visitors.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as weed-whacking and lawn mowing.
• Maintain equipment and operate machinery safely.
• Install cemetery vaults and headstones as needed.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties and snow removal if applicable.
• Support funeral services and other duties as assigned.
