Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Cemetery Groundskeeper to care for and maintain cemetery grounds, ensuring safety and high service standards for visitors. You will operate equipment, assist with vaults and headstones, and support general maintenance tasks.

The role requires physical stamina, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work holidays, evenings, or weekends as needed. A background in maintenance is preferred and a commitment to compassionate service is essential.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read and execute memos and directives from supervisor and/or management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with interruptions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Care, maintenance, and repairs of the cemetery property.
• Ensure safety and security of employees and visitors.
• Operate and handle cemetery grounds equipment safely.
• Install cemetery vaults and assist with installing headstones or memorials.
• Perform snow removal as applicable.
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties.
