Buzzi Unicem USA Inc. is seeking a Production Yard/Labor Supervisor to lead crews responsible for housekeeping, material handling, and yard maintenance within our cement plant. You will oversee safe operations, enforce policies, and support production schedules.

You will plan equipment movements, monitor material flows, train staff, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure reliability. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential for success.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years leading yard, quarry, or heavy industrial operations.
• Experience supervising heavy equipment operators and material handling teams.
• Knowledge of MSHA/OSHA and safety regulations.

• Lead crews responsible for housekeeping, material handling, and yard maintenance in support of safe and efficient cement plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise daily yard operations for safe handling, movement, and storage of materials.
• Plan and coordinate yard equipment activities to support production and shipping schedules.
• Monitor material stockpiles, blending, and inventory levels to ensure proper material flow.
• Conduct routine inspections of mobile equipment and yard areas for hazards or inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams on material supply and repairs.
• Lead and train yard personnel in safe operation and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate plans and allocate resources to maintain high housekeeping standards; identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain records of material movement, equipment hours, inspections, and fuel consumption.
• Assist in budgeting, resource planning, and cost control for yard operations.
• Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
