Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA seeks an experienced plant leader to oversee all manufacturing functions across production, engineering, mining, maintenance and administration at our Greencastle, IN facility. You will drive capital projects, maintain high safety and quality standards, and foster a well-trained, motivated workforce.

You will regularly coordinate with sales, marketing and customer service to ensure customer needs are met, manage costs, and lead multiple functional teams in a fast-moving cement

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS in a related technical or business field.
• Strong leadership under pressure and ability to drive change.
• Excellent oral and written communication; customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Direct all manufacturing functions including production, engineering, mining, maintenance and administrative functions.
• Plan for capital improvements and projects.
• Establish effective employee relations to ensure a well-trained and motivated workforce.
• Maintain a safe working environment with emphasis on MSHA compliance.
• Develop subordinates and supervise, schedule and manage operations for quality output at minimum cost.
• Interface with sales, marketing and customer service to meet customer needs.
• Maintain production rates to optimize equipment and labor while controlling costs.
• Oversee planning and execution to achieve long-term goals.
• Involvement with special projects as assigned.
