Buzzi Unicem USA is seeking a batching operator to batch concrete loads according to mix designs and specifications. You will read dispatch orders, operate batching equipment safely, and ensure production meets quality and environmental standards.

The role requires basic computer skills and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced plant environment. A high school diploma is required, with 1–2 years batching experience preferred; strong safety focus is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.

Responsibilities

• Batch concrete loads according to mix designs and specifications.
• Conduct batching operations safely and efficiently; comply with regulations.
• Produce in-spec concrete for customers and maintain quality, on-time delivery.
• Print delivery tickets and file records; assist as needed for customer payments.
• Maintain plant equipment and perform basic maintenance and cleaning.
• Keep time and material records.
• Test concrete for conformance and adjust mix designs as needed.
