Ozinga Materials Inc. is seeking a Facility Operator to oversee the safe, efficient operation of our vertical grinding mill and cement terminal in East Chicago, IN.

You will manage daily production, monitor equipment, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure clean, safe work areas while interfacing with customers and stakeholders. The role emphasizes hands-on maintenance, quality control testing, and adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards to support reliable, high-quality

Formación

• Experience operating cement grinding facility or similar facility.
• Experience in railroad operations preferred.
• Experience in bulk powder terminal preferred.
• Industrial work environment experience preferred.
• Equipment experience preferred (Manlift, skid steer, loader).

Responsabilidades

• Operate vertical grinding mill and cement terminal daily.
• Perform routine maintenance and tool checks.
• Coordinate logistics, ticketing, stockpile, and inventory.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping per standards.
• Document work and report equipment issues.
• Ensure product labeling accuracy and quality checks.
• Interact with customers and stakeholders regularly.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs.
