Job summary

Ozinga in Indiana is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee the operations of our vertical grinding mill and cement terminal, ensuring high-quality production and strong customer satisfaction. You will manage milling equipment, monitor quality, maintain inventory, and handle logistics and documentation daily.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting, knowledge of cement production processes, and the ability to lead a diverse team on multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of cement and concrete products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of shift personnel to ensure safe and efficient operation of the grinding mill and cement terminal.
• Monitor production processes of cement grinding, equipment performance, and quality control measures to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to shift staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as safety and quality assurance, to optimize production processes and resolve cross-functional issues.
