Job summary

Ozinga in Indiana is seeking a Facility Operator to safely and efficiently run the cement terminal and vertical grinding mill, ensuring high-quality production and customer satisfaction. You will monitor, operate, and maintain milling and support equipment, keep areas clean and safe, and handle inventory and logistics.

This role involves daily interaction with internal and external customers, performing quality checks, maintaining records, and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating cement grinding facility or similar facility.
• Experience in railroad operations preferred.
• Experience in bulk powder terminal preferred.
• Industrial work environment experience preferred.
• Equipment experience preferred (Manlift, skid steer, loader).

Responsibilities

• Daily operations of vertical grinding mill and cement terminal.
• Coordinate logistics, scale ticketing, stockpile and inventory management.
• Operate mobile equipment as required.
• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment during both operational and non-operational periods.
• Maintain records of work performed and parts replaced.
• Perform routine material quality control tests and sampling procedures.
• Ensure that all products/samples are labeled correctly and clearly.
• Manage inventory and generate appropriate reports.
• Maintain a safe jobsite and comply with applicable standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement practices and safety programs.
