Ozinga Bros, Inc. in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Facility Operator to run the vertical grinding mill and cement terminal safely and efficiently. You will monitor, operate, and maintain milling equipment, manage inventory, and interact with customers and stakeholders daily.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and experience in cement or bulk powder terminals. The position offers an hourly wage of $27.00–$34.00 with union benefits and a strong safety program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in cement grinding/facility is preferred.
• Experience in industrial safety is beneficial.
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations in industrial settings.

Responsabilités

• Operate vertical grinding mill and cement terminal daily.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Coordinate logistics, scale tickets, stockpile, and inventory management.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Perform routine material quality control tests and sampling procedures.
• Ensure proper labeling and documentation of products and samples.
• Participate in the company safety program.
