Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Cement Technician to safely maintain tire supply on the kiln tire delivery system. You will load tires from trucks onto hooks and move full trailers to the dock, removing empties as needed.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, physical ability to lift tires up to 100 lbs, and the capacity to operate yard tractors, forklifts, and Bobcats. You will work rotating 1st–3rd shifts and adhere to strict safety PPE rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required.
• Able to lift 20–100 lbs and handle heavier tires.
• Able to operate yard tractor, forklift and bobcat.
• Able to perform heavy work in varied climates.
• Technicians rotate 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts and follow safety PPE rules.

Responsibilities

• Places a tire on each empty hook at dock loading area.
• Disposes of unusable material per procedures.
• Move trailers: replace empty with full at dock.
• Complete paperwork, records and sampling as required.
• Maintain plant housekeeping standards.
• Report anomalies to supervisor promptly.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental policies.
