Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Cement Technician at its Whitehall Cement Plant in PA to safely and efficiently maintain the required supply of tires on the kiln tire delivery system. This role involves loading tires from trucks onto hooks and moving full trailers to the dock, while ensuring accurate paperwork and data collection.

The ideal candidate can lift 20–100 lbs, operate yard equipment (yard tractor, forklift and Bobcat), and work a rotating 1st/2nd/3rd shift schedule with strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 20–100 lbs and handle heavier loads.
• Ability to operate yard tractor, forklift and Bobcat.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Load tires from trucks onto hooks.
• Move full trailers to the dock and remove empties.
• Complete paperwork, record keeping, and sampling as required.
• Assist in maintaining plant housekeeping standards.
• Report unusual circumstances to supervision and follow safety policies.
