Amrize is seeking a Shipping Technician to ensure safe, accurate delivery of cement products and to operate terminal equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will load trucks and rail cars, monitor equipment readings, and maintain orderly shipping areas while following safety policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to PPE requirements, and ongoing involvement in health and environmental safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 1–3 years of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers and SAP preferred.
• High mechanical aptitude and ability; positive attitude when working with others.
• Ability to complete paperwork.
• Knowledge of cement and construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cement products safely and professionally.
• Operate terminal equipment, load trucks and rail cars, and use forklift or rail car mover.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shipping areas and verify outgoing paperwork.
• Inspect equipment and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Provide excellent customer service to carriers daily.
• Support other departments with ad hoc tasks such as kiln outages.
