Amrize is hiring a Shipping Technician to ensure safe, clean delivery of cement products and to operate feeding, weighing, bulk loading, and transport tasks. You’ll load trucks and rail cars, run forklifts, and monitor equipment readings to maintain quality and quantity in the assigned area.

The role emphasizes safety, paperwork accuracy, and teamwork across departments, with opportunities to support maintenance and other duties as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent or 1-3 years of equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft programs, and SAP is preferred.
• High mechanical aptitude and ability; knowledge of office equipment.
• Must be able to complete paperwork.
• Knowledge of cement, construction industry, and integrated computer systems is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operates terminal equipment, loads outgoing trucks and rail cars, and operates forklift and rail car mover.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of shipping areas and verifies paperwork accuracy.
• Interprets equipment readings to ensure product quality and quantity.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs as assigned.
• Provides excellent customer service to external customers (carriers).
• Supports other departments with ad hoc tasks, such as during kiln outages.
