Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Cement Technician to safely and efficiently maintain tire supply on the kiln tire delivery system. The role involves loading tires from trucks, moving trailers, and ensuring proper paperwork and housekeeping.

Qualified applicants must lift up to 100 lbs, operate a yard tractor, forklift and bobcat, and work a rotating 1st/2nd/3rd shift schedule. Strong safety emphasis and PPE adherence are required.

Qualifications

• Must lift tires 20–100 lbs and maneuver heavy tires.
• Operate yard tractor, forklift and bobcat as part of tire handling.
• Adhere to rotating 1st/2nd/3rd shift schedule and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Places a tire on each empty hook as they pass the dock loading area.
• Disposes of unusable material as prescribed.
• Removes empty trailers from the dock and replaces with full trailers.
• Completes paperwork, record keeping, and sampling as required.
• Maintains plant housekeeping standards.
• Reports unusual circumstances or problems to supervisor.
• Adheres to health, safety and environmental policies at all times.
