Job summary

Amrize in Utah seeks a Shipping Technician to ensure safe, accurate delivery of cement products and to operate terminal equipment and trucks. You will load, weigh, and move materials while maintaining paperwork and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or 1–3 years experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work at height and in confined spaces; training on PPE and safety policies is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 1-3 years of equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of computers and SAP preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with office equipment.
• Must be able to complete paperwork and maintain records.
• Knowledge of cement and construction industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates commitment to safety policies across all work environments.
• Operates terminal equipment, loads trucks and rail cars, and uses forklift/light industrial equipment.
• Maintains shipping area cleanliness and verifies shipment paperwork.
• Interprets instrument readings to ensure product quality and quantity.
• Assists with preventive maintenance and responds to equipment issues as needed.
• Provides excellent customer service to carriers and other external customers.
