Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Midlothian Cement Plant in Texas to perform maintenance on equipment and facilities, including repair, welding, preventive maintenance, and installation of equipment.

You should have basic hydraulics knowledge, be able to read schematics, and work rotating shifts while supporting health, safety and environmental programs, and after-hours call-outs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school or training program preferred.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental policies.
• Ability to wear PPE and pass respirator fit tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, manlift, light crane and other shop tools.
• Repair equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
• Read blueprints and schematics; work from instructions.
• Respond to after-hours call-outs as needed and rotate shifts.
• Create and update SAP work orders; document reports.
