Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. in Whitehall, PA is seeking a Cement Technician to safely and efficiently maintain the required tire supply on the kiln tire delivery system, loading tires from trucks onto hooks and moving full trailers to the dock.

You will perform inspections, paperwork, and sampling, while upholding health, safety and environmental policies. This role requires lifting tires up to 100 lbs and operating yard tractor, forklift and bobcat, with a rotating 1st/2nd/3rd shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift tires ranging from 20 to 100 lbs and maneuver tires over 100 lbs.
• Ability to operate yard tractor, forklift and bobcat.
• Rotating shift schedule: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Adherence to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Places a tire on each empty hook as they pass the dock loading area.
• Disposes of unusable material as prescribed.
• Removes empty trailers from the dock and replaces with full trailers.
• Completes paperwork, record keeping, and sampling as required.
• Maintains plant housekeeping standards.
• Reports unusual circumstances to supervisor.
• Adheres to health, safety and environmental policies.
