Job summary
Amrize is seeking a Production Manager CEM at the Theodore Cement Plant in Alabama. You will lead the production department to meet budgeted output while upholding safety, environmental and quality standards. You will guide plant personnel, coordinate with other departments, and contribute to long‑term improvement plans.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Science or Engineering and at least 7 years cement plant experience, with proficiency in SAP, Word and Excel. Travel ~10% may be involved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is required.
- Minimum 7 years of cement plant experience with exposure to all functional areas.
- Strong leadership, safety program experience, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with basic computer tools including Word, Excel, and SAP.
Responsibilities
- Lead production department to meet safety, environmental, quality, and budget objectives.
- Ensure plant produces required quantity of quality products.
- Direct use of production equipment and personnel efficiently.
- Provide coaching, guidance and delegation to staff as needed.
- Assist management in 3-year improvement planning and budgeting.
- Maintain safety consciousness and drive a culture of safety.
