Job summary

Cemex US in Florida is seeking a results-driven Coordinator Production to support our plant operations. You will help ensure safety, environmental and quality standards while optimizing daily production and supporting team development. This role coordinates equipment, plans maintenance, and prepares daily production reports.

Candidates should have a technical degree and 3–5 years in operations, MSHA certification, and strong written and verbal communication. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent education/experience.
• MSHA certification (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
• 3–5 years of experience in operations or a related industrial role; supervisory experience preferred.
• Cement process experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software systems; strong written and verbal communication; troubleshooting and decision-making abilities; attention to detail and prioritization; teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills; ability to operate heavy equipment and perform essential job functions; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Promote safety culture and ensure work complies with standards.
• Training & Development: Ensure team has necessary safety/operational skills.
• Environmental Responsibility: Oversee environmental regulations compliance.
• Product Quality: Support quality assurance with QC and other departments.
• Operations Oversight: Monitor equipment, production performance, and startup/shutdown procedures.
• Workforce Planning: Schedule work, authorize overtime, manage staffing.
• Equipment Maintenance: Initiate and track maintenance work orders.
• Reporting & Documentation: Complete daily production reports and capture issues.
• Coordination: Manage shipments and communicate with quarry teams.
