Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a results-focused Coordinator Production to support plant operations, ensuring safety, environmental and quality standards while optimizing daily processes. You will coordinate equipment, plan maintenance, and produce production reports to drive efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years in operations with MS Office proficiency, strong communication, and leadership capabilities; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent education/experience.
• MSHA certification (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe).
• 3 to 5 years of experience in operations or a related industrial role; supervisory experience preferred; cement process experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Promote safety per company/OSHA/MSHA standards.
• Training & Development: Ensure team skills; participate in safety programs and risk assessments.
• Environmental Responsibility: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Product Quality: Support quality with QA and troubleshoot to maintain high standards.
• Operations Oversight: Monitor plant equipment; oversee production performance and start/stop procedures.
• Workforce Planning: Schedule work, authorize overtime, ensure staffing.
• Equipment Maintenance: Initiate and track maintenance work orders; ensure reliability.
• Reporting & Documentation: Complete daily production reports; report unsafe areas.
• Coordination: Manage shipments of cement and communicate quarry ops to teams.
