Job summary

Ash Grove Cement, part of CRH, is seeking a Process Control Supervisor to oversee the raw materials to finish milling operations. You will supervise hourly production staff, inspect equipment, write work orders, and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in cement production, knowledge of kiln and mill operations, and the ability to lead teams across shifts while meeting production targets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Vocational/technical degree preferred in production, process control, or similar field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a production supervisor role.
• 2 years of experience as a control room operator or process engineer in the cement industry preferred.
• Proficient in English written, verbal communication, and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
• Demonstrates pyro-processing expertise in performing regular responsibilities.
• Participates in the training of control room operators on proper plant equipment usage.
• Works closely with shift process teams to ensure mills and pyro lines operate at peak efficiency.
• Monitors and develops frontline process employees routine inspection program and task training.
• Communicate job performance to employees.
• Implements changes for optimal operating conditions with process engineer.
