Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our plant operations. You will perform maintenance on production equipment, operate cranes and hoists, and ensure safety procedures are followed on site.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of mechanical/maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license. Willingness to train further and work overtime is expected in a dynamic cement plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years as mechanical or maintenance technician.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer skills and SAP knowledge.
• Experience with alignment, welding, and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on plant production and service equipment.
• Operate forklift, skid loader, teleforker and other heavy equipment.
• Repair and eliminate product spillage; maintain tools and parts.
• Follow safety and environmental policies at all times.
• Read and interpret blueprints and repair drawings.
