Cemex US is seeking a reliable Laborer/Serviceman to support maintenance and production activities at our plant. This entry-level role focuses on safety, hands-on work, cleanup, and day-to-day tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety rules, performing physical tasks, assisting with maintenance and painting, and supporting plant outage work. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a willingness to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four years of general plant experience or six years of cement plant experience if joining from outside the company.
• Strong communication, mechanical aptitude, and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules, wear PPE, and report safety concerns.
• Perform trenching, digging, backfilling, shoveling, sweeping, and cleanup tasks.
• Assist with maintenance work, concrete form building, painting, and housekeeping.
• Lubricate and oil equipment; support maintenance teams and respond to callouts.
• Attend meetings and training sessions; support other classifications and plant outage work.
• Complete any tasks assigned by management to support plant operations.
