Job summary

Cemex US is seeking an Operator to manage plant production operations, maintenance, and repair of fixed plant equipment. The role ensures production efficiency and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining an aggregate facility, a high school diploma or GED, and welding/cutting experience is highly valued. Ability to read, write, and speak English is required; willingness to work scheduled shifts, overtime, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled shift hours and be flexible with scheduling, overtime and weekends.
• Welding and cutting experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate facility in a production mode, maintaining established efficiencies.
• Examine and diagnose operational problems, and repairs according to accepted methods.
• Conduct preventative maintenance practices.
• Able to understand, interpret, and execute instructions given in both verbal and written form.
• Schedule or call for repairs and parts.
• Adhere to all CEMEX, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations at all times.
