Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Project Engineer II for our Holly Hill Cement Plant in South Carolina. This role focuses on identifying, developing and implementing CAPEX projects to improve plant reliability, operability and cost performance while meeting safety standards.

You will manage multiple projects, review proposals, prepare cost estimates and drawings, and supervise on-site activities with Field Engineers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 3–5 years experience; cement/building materials is a plus
• Experience with Excel and ERP systems (SAP or similar) is required

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement CAPEX projects to improve plant reliability and reduce costs
• Prepare and review drawings and comprehensive technical cost estimates
• Oversee on-site execution to ensure work is within scope, budget and safety standards
• Coordinate with Field Engineers and other sections for technical studies and reports
• Promote health, safety and environmental policies across all work activities
