Job summary

ASAHI BEER USA INC / OCTOPI BREWING is seeking a Cellar Supervisor to lead the shift, make real-time production decisions, and ensure smooth coordination between Cellar, Batching, Brewhouse, and Packaging. This role reports to the Cellar Manager and drives staffing, scheduling, and process improvements on the cellar floor.

The ideal candidate has brewing/manufacturing experience, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety and documentation

Qualifications

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 55 lbs / moving 165 lbs as needed.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing or manufacturing setting.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and prioritize shifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the accountable leader for your shift — making production decisions and keeping scheduled work on track.
• Act as the primary communicator between your shift and the Cellar Manager, Packaging, and the Brewhouse operator
• Check in regularly with your team, provide feedback, and help resolve concerns as they come up
• Recommend staffing and schedule changes based on your read of the process and workflow
• Ensure documentation, sanitation, and safety standards are completed and handed off cleanly to the next shift
• Delegate work across the shift, including the batching team and other brewing support as needed
