Job summary

ASAHI BEER USA INC (Octopi Brewing) is seeking a Packaging Line Manager to lead a 24-hour operation, owning safety, quality, efficiency, and team development across all shifts. You will collaborate with Brewing, Lab, Maintenance, Warehouse, and QA to keep lines running smoothly.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, process improvement, and training systems, with opportunities to implement change in a high-paced beverage production facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a managerial role within manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs as needed.
• Experience with machine operation, troubleshooting and safety in manufacturing.
• Highly organized with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a 24-hour packaging team, coaching, training, and holding the team accountable to safety, quality, and efficiency goals.
• Plan and oversee daily packaging operations, keeping production aligned with schedules and specs.
• Diagnose equipment issues and coordinate maintenance to keep lines running reliably.
• Own root cause analysis and data-driven process improvement across packaging lines.
• Build and maintain training systems, SOPs, and competency tracking across all roles and shifts.
• Ensure GMP, GDP, OSHA, and safety compliance through regular inspections and audits.
• Partner with QA on product specs and quality, and represent Packaging in cross-departmental planning.
