Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Summit West, NJ, is seeking a Specialist, Training and Development to lead the Manufacturing Training Program implementation. The role trains staff, develops training solutions, and ensures compliant classroom and on-the-job learning within a GMP environment.

You will design course content, conduct ILT and OJT, maintain training documentation, and collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Facilities to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires a high level of understanding of cell therapy processes, controls, and GMP requirements.
• Advanced skills in design, development, and implementation of training.
• Advanced skills in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Requires a high level of organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to communicate information clearly to facilitate effective learning in classroom settings.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with trainees, colleagues, and subject-matter experts.
• Ability to work in an aseptic environment requiring qualification.
• Collaborates with Manager to ensure training is compliant and effective.
• Maintains training documentation and employee records.
• Develops course content and procedures including new SOPs and TRNs.
• Works with Quality to identify training trends and improvements.
• Performs competency assessments of operators and implements new training programs.

Responsibilities

• Implements training programs meeting regulatory requirements and business needs.
• Creates training plans to develop new hires into proficient operators.
• Conducts ILT and OJT to ensure proficiency in cleanroom operations.
• Provides trainee feedback and identifies gaps for additional training.
• Solicits feedback for continuous improvement of course content.
