Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Summit West, NJ is seeking an Associate Director, Training and Deviations, to lead a compliant, capable manufacturing organization. You will shape a site-specific training strategy and ensure the development of robust deviation assessments across two teams.

You will partner with senior leadership, coordinate with QA and manufacturing, oversee CAPA and audit readiness, and maintain training records while driving Right First Time and continuous improvement across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 8 years in manufacturing with leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years developing training strategies in regulated manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years leading deviation investigations and CAPA management.
• Extensive knowledge of EOHSS, cGMP, and ATMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Training and Deviations function and two teams to maintain training readiness.
• Ensure GMP compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory documentation.
• Drive Right First Time through targeted training and deviation investigations.
• Represent function in quality councils and risk management.
• Oversee lean deployment and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain training records and KPIs across 24/7 operations.
