Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Bend, Oregon seeks a Specialist, Manufacturing Technical Development to lead the site training program for manufacturing staff, ensuring GMP-compliant onboarding and ongoing operator competency.

You will design and deliver ILT and OJT sessions, develop course content and SOPs, maintain training records, and collaborate with QA, Quality, Supply Chain and Facilities to drive continuous improvement in cell therapy production.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of cell therapy processes and GMP.
• Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities; classroom teaching.
• B.S. in Biology, Biochemical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering or related field with 4–5+ years in clinical lab or cell culture.

Responsibilities

• Implements training programs meeting regulatory and business needs.
• Delivers ILT and OJT sessions for cleanroom operators.
• Develops course content, SOPs, and assessments.
• Maintains training records and documentation.
• Collaborates with QA, Supply Chain, and Facilities for improvements.
• Supports manufacturing of clinical grade cellular products in GMP space.
