Job summary

Legend Biotech USA Inc. seeks an Operations Support Specialist 1st Shift (Sun-Wed) in Raritan, NJ to join the Technical Operations team.

The role supports production of personalized cell therapies in a sterile cGMP environment and involves collaboration across Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, up to 1 year in a cGMP biotech setting, and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to support manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 0-1 years of operations experience in a cGMP biotech/biopharma setting.
• Ability to build partnerships and collaborate in a matrixed environment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance for cell-based products.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform cell culture, purification, aseptic processing, and cryopreservation per SOPs.
• Record production data clearly and concisely.
• Build strong partnerships with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality for shift tasks.
• Support development of manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvements.
• Handle biological materials and hazardous chemicals.
• Interact with all levels within the organization.
