Job summary

Legend Biotech US is seeking an Operations Support Specialist 1st Shift (Sun-Wed) for the Technical Operations team in Raritan, NJ. The CAR-T production role supports clinical and commercial manufacturing in a sterile cGMP environment, with duties performed on a shift-based schedule.

The candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and have 0–1 years of biotech/biopharma operations experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 0–1 years of operations experience in a cGMP biotech/biopharma environment is preferred.
• Ability to build partnerships and work in a matrixed environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform process unit operations (cell culture, purification, aseptic processing, cryopreservation) per SOPs and batch records; record data clearly.
• Work safely and in compliance with cGMP requirements and quality systems.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality to complete production tasks per shift.
• Support development of manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvements in Technical Operations.
• Handle biological materials and hazardous chemicals.
• Interact with all levels of the organization.
