Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking an Operations Support Specialist for the 1st shift (Sun-Wed) in Raritan, NJ. The role is part of the Technical Operations team supporting CAR-T cell therapy production in a sterile cGMP environment.

Responsibilities include running unit operations (cell culture, purification, aseptic processing, cryopreservation) and documenting data while collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 0-1 years of operations experience in a cGMP biotech/biopharma environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive projects in a matrixed environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication with attention to procedures and safety.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidance for cell-based products.

Responsibilities

• Perform cell culture, purification, aseptic processing, and cryopreservation per SOPs and batch records.
• Record production data clearly and concisely; ensure timely task completion.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality on shift tasks.
• Support development of manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvements.
• Handle biological materials and hazardous chemicals per safety standards.
• Interact with all organizational levels as needed.
