Job summary

Legend Biotech, based in Somerset, New Jersey, is seeking a Maintenance Specialist I (1st shift) in Raritan, NJ, to support cGMP cell therapy manufacturing. The role focuses on maintenance of HVAC, clean rooms, utilities, and process equipment, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, read drawings, and maintain documentation in the CMMS.

Qualifications

• BSc/ MSc in biological field or equivalent experience for technician role.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written) required.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Maintenance experience across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, clean rooms, steam, and process equipment.
• Perform installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance of facilities systems.
• Operate and maintain CMMS work orders and document activities.
• Support GMP/compliant manufacturing operations and utility systems.
• Read blueprints, P&IDs, and drawings; adhere to GDP and regulatory standards.
