Job summary

Children's National Medical Center is seeking a CTL Specialist in Washington, DC to lead manual and automated cell processing, expansion, and related assays in a GMP-compliant Cellular Therapy Laboratory.

The role includes leading staff training, coordinating lab logistics, and ensuring rigorous documentation and regulatory compliance to support clinical trials and patient care in cellular therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in basic science or related field is required.
• 4-5 years of experience in a clinical lab or GMP/GLP setting is required.
• 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead training of new staff.
• Communicate with management regarding processing, product/assay development, or equipment issues.
• Coordinate logistics including purchasing and shipping of equipment and products.
• Participate in management and operation of the lab.
• Perform CTL assays and cell processing tasks and ensure proper documentation.
