Job summary

Children’s National Hospital is seeking a CTL Specialist to lead activities in the Cellular Therapy Laboratory. You will perform cell processing, expansion, and release testing, while ensuring strict adherence to protocols and safety standards.

Role includes training staff, coordinating logistics, and collaborating with QC, material management, and scientific leads to advance CTL projects for clinical trials and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a basic science or related field required.
• Master's degree in biology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4–5 years in a clinical lab or GMP/GLP setting.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead manual and automated cell processing and assays.
• Train new staff and oversee CTL operations.
• Coordinate logistics including purchasing and shipping of equipment.
