Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking a Senior Clinical Cellular Therapy Lab Specialist in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves complex cell manipulation and testing for cancer patients undergoing Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy, with mentorship duties for lab staff.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining sterile techniques, and supporting daily operations under the guidance of the lab manager.

Qualifications

• 2 year/Associate degree required (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
• 4 year/Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combination)
• Certification as MT-ASCP or MT-AAB or MT-AMT (or MLS) required
• 5+ years of experience in clinical cell processing

Responsibilities

• Perform cell manipulation/evaluation following SOPs including cryopreservation, enrichment, purging, culture and infusion
• Document deviations and incidents per FDA GLP/GMP/CLIA requirements and assist investigations
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure product sterility until patient infusion
• Calculate infusion doses, viabilities, dilutions, and cell concentrations accurately
• Troubleshoot equipment and procedures, mentoring junior staff and coordinating with teams
• Assist in validations, SOPs, environmental monitoring, and quality improvement projects
